Baron is a giant saint with a gentle soul. Maik got him in September 2018. There’s a lot of unknown about his past other than he was imported from Germany so in order to do him justice we had him thoroughly examined by a vet to make sure he’s healthy and ready to work. We believe he must have had some sort of previous education in jumping and was ridden hunters before just by the way he traveled. In the last 4 years he hasn’t done much at all and that’s why we’re basically just beginning to put some more mileage on him. However he’s grateful for any kind of attention and learns willingly and quickly. He’s built very uphill with tons of impulsion. He literally flies through the diagonal in medium trot leaving you stunned. Baron is such a talented mover once he relaxes the topline and starts trusting the rider’s hand.
As soon as you gain this trust, you own him and he’ll try hard for you!
What to bring: whip and/or little spurs, extra time for attention in form of hugs and kisses (he pays it right back to you)
What not to bring: strong, non-releasing hands
