    Our philosophy

We will do everything to make your horse feel at home at Harmony Dressage Stables by giving it the best possible care and training it in accordance with its individual character.
We are convinced that horses and riders need regular training, especially when you want to improve your and your horse’s performance.
Our policy is to train horses according to the standards set up by the internationally renowned “Ausbildungsskala” (a guideline to improve your horse’s skills in six steps).
The idea is to establish a closer harmony between horse and rider thus enabling them to show the best possible performance.
We will support our clients in realizing their hopes and dreams.

“Aufrichtung” (Elevation) in upper level dressage training is highly desired
alternating scenery and footing is important for the horses’ development

    Boarding

We strongly believe this site is the most charming place in South Carolina.

We feed high-quality grain and hay twice a day and on request owner-provided supplements. Ample turnout will be in groups of 2 to 4 horses. Our lush pastures are wonderfully spacious and equipped with shelters.

    Lesson horses

Let us introduce our beloved, well-behaved lesson horses to you!

Our customers can choose from a variety of quality dressage horses which are mostly USDF confirmed in their level (Introductory to 3rd Level). In our opinion it makes it easier for the students to learn on/with a partner that has already proven themselves.

They all are experienced, reliable, sensitive and enjoy their daily work since they are not used for lessons only but are in general dressage training and actual private horses that our boarders kindly offer for lessons.

We want to find the best match for your skills and needs. Although after a while you may have a favorite horse to ride rotation every so often will help you to become a better rider and will immensely enlarge your riding tool box.

Here you find a detailed description of each horse and a couple of pictures:
