Catie is a 14-year-old beauty, born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She was moved to Charlotte, NC as a yearling where she was broken and trained by Laura Fadeley as a western pleasure/trail horse. Catie is neck reined and is excellent with leg pressures – she is actually able to be ridden in the ring without a bridle! As a treat, Catie also likes to jump over small obstacles and loves to trail ride in groups or by herself.

If you would like to learn how to sit the trot she is the perfect horse! With her smooth jog and rocking chair lope, you are able to hop on her bareback and take her out for a spin. Or if you prefer, you may also ride her in a traditional Western or English saddle. Catie is very versatile and easy to transition, so you will be able to try a variety of different disciplines with her.

What to bring: short whip, small amount of treats
What not to bring: long whip

Catie is already onsite half-leased out and therefore available for lessons on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays only.
